| SpamAssassin is a program used to mark your email that is
determined to be spam. This determination is made by setting the
threshold on your account to a level that allows you to receive the
email you want without it being marked SPAM.
We have been testing the threshold and decided that 6.0 is a good
threshold for marking email as SPAM. You may decide differently and wish
to change that setting. We are making that option available to you. Additionally, when you log on to the interface to mange the SPAMASSASSIN you will find a way to allow or deny everything from a certain address by simply typing the address in the box and clicking on ALLOW ADDRESS or DENY ADDRESS. DO NOT CHANGE ANY OPTIONS OTHER THAN ALLOW / DENY ADDRESSES LIST AND REQUIRED HITS. Changing any other settings may affect you receiving your email. At this point, you are receiving the mail marked as spam. If or when you decide that you DO NOT want to receive these emails, you can contact spam@direclynx.net. We will then set up directories to hold any email marked spam on our server for 14 days. To check these emails, you will be able to go to webmail.direclynx.net and logon to your email server. There under folders, you will see a folder named SPAM. That is where all the emails marked as SPAM will be held for 14 days. Everyday we will delete any email marked SPAM from this folder that is older than 14 days. Additionally, will leave a summary of what was deleted and from whom.
